MJ Films can live-stream your wedding from anywhere there is good network coverage. Our live-streaming service typically offers two cameras (one on fixed wide-angle) with radio microphones.
All of our gear is battery powered and portable, with no cluttered screens and cables to crowd the area. A master recording is delivered usually same day.
Our mobile internet live-streaming will involve up to five individual connections bonded together with aim to achieve a continuous HD quality stream.
The wedding is streamed to a custom page. This player can have a chat room enabled if desired. You can also download the recording later for your archive and view the stats.

What areas do you cover?
We cover all of mainland UK, including England, Scotland, and Wales. With enough notice, we can travel anywhere. For distances over 100 miles, there’s a small charge to cover fuel, but nothing extra beyond that. If an overnight stay is needed, we’ll find the most cost-effective accommodation.
How big are the cameras? Will they be distracting?
Our cameras are compact and discreet. They can even be controlled remotely, so there’s no need for us to stand next to them during the ceremony.
Do you move the camera around?
Yes, but only when necessary. For the most stable and reliable stream, the camera remains mostly stationary. However, we can reposition it for key moments, such as the signing of the register or confetti shots outside.
How long does it take to set up?
We set up as much as possible in advance, and on the day, it usually takes about 30 minutes. We always arrive early to ensure everything is ready long before the ceremony starts. Once we're allowed inside, it’s just a matter of placing the microphones and going live.
My church is huge – will you get a strong signal inside?
Live streaming depends on connectivity, which can vary by location. We always check coverage beforehand, so we know what to expect. In the rare case that the internet speed isn’t fast enough for a smooth stream, we still record everything in HD and upload it immediately after the event. We also offer a Starlink connection for additional cost.
How many cameras do you use?
Most weddings are streamed with a single camera, which is more than enough in 99% of cases. If needed, we can use multiple cameras, but this requires a larger setup for live multi-camera editing. We also use three high-quality microphones: one for ambient sound and music, one for the officiant and vows, and one for any readings. We monitor the audio throughout to ensure the best sound at all times.
Is the video high quality?
Absolutely. The video and audio quality are exceptional—far superior to any fixed camera a venue or church might provide. Our cameras are fully controlled to get the best angles, and we stream in HD, which is the highest quality currently possible for live streaming.
Can you take photos and live stream at the same time?
Yes, this can be arranged. Just mention it when you enquire, and we’ll discuss the options with you.
